Why are there 4 Partitions on my Drive??

I have a new E520 VIIV Pent 915 with a 250 GB hard drive. Could somebody explain why my hard drive is configured thus:-

I can see Drive "C" - "Local Drive" - 169 GB and Drive "D" - "Backup" - 58.1 GB. What are the other two partitions for?

The other two partitions should be the 39mb± is Dell's Hidden EISA Partition, that has diagnostics and the 3.46gb partition with the Dell PC Restore by Symantec utility.
