Hi. I have one important question. I found kingston SSD (SMS100S2/64G) with mSATA (Mini-SATA) interface. In my laptop (v131) i saw the same port, i guess its for 3g module. Can I install this SSD drive in this port?
Strangely. I called in dell support (Russian Federation) and they told me that I CAN put it in PCI-e mini. And told that SAMSUNG mSATA SSD's works 100% ,like the others similar SSD's from other manufacturers.
mSATA drives require a specific type of slot - though they fit in a mini-PCI express slot, they will not work unless the slot is wired for mSATA. The only Dell systems that support mSATA so far are the high-end Precision series.
