need help removing cover from hard drive

Could anyone tell how to remove the side cover off of the hard drive so I can install a new card?

not sure what you mean.  what is your system (make and model)?  what exactly are you trying to add to your computer?

Ok, you seem to want to remove the side off of your Case. Depends on what type of case you have...Usually, it is the left side that comes off. If you have an older one you may have to remove the whole case as a complete part...you would do this by removing all of the screws from the back along the edge of the case (look for screws going through the case into the body of the computer). Or, you could have one or two screws with a really big head and a diamond cut along its diameter (for grip). or you may have two sliding releases. Always remember to unplug the computer before working on the inside!
