Hi RDD123:
Yes, it should. My Dell SupportAssist v3.9.0 delivered an update on 08-May-2021 for “Dell Security Advisory Update – DSA-2021-088” that fixes the DBUtil driver vulnerability described in DSA-2021-088: Dell Client Platform Security Update for an Insufficient Access Control Vulnerability in the Dell dbutil Driver.
After the update ran to completion the status was logged in the History tab of Dell SupportAssist under Recent Activity, and a log file called dell-security-advisory-update-dsa-2021-088_6drp5_win_1.0.0_a01.txt was saved in the folder C:\ProgramData\Dell\UpdateService\UpdatePackage\log that I can open with Notepad.
If you aren't sure if Dell SupportAssist already ran this utility on your own computer you can download and manually run a standalone version from the Dell support page for your computer. For example, the "Drivers & Downloads" tab of the support page <here> for my Inspiron 5584 has this download link:
----------
64-bit Win 10 Pro v20H2 build 19042.985 * Firefox v88.0.1 * Microsoft Defender v4.18.2104.14 * Malwarebytes Premium v4.3.0.98-1.0.1292 * Dell SupportAssist v3.9.0.234 * Dell Update v4.2.0
