Dell Support Assist Agent trying to install something which gives error

Hi

We just acquired 10 Dell Latitude 5480 laptops which all seem to have the same problem.

Every now and then, all of these laptops asks for admin credentials for the Dell Support Assist Agent to install something.

If I give admin credentials, I just get an error.

Windows Service Start Error
Service cannot be started from command line or error handling.
Windows Service needs to be installed first (using installutil.exe) and started via ServerExplorer, Windows Service Handling Tool or by NET START -command.

I have uodated everything, OS, Dell via Dell SupportAssist Tool, nothing works.

What is this related to and how do I get rid of it??

The only way that I have been able to make the error go away is to log in as Admin and disable the "Dell Support Assist" service.  It kind of defeats the purpose of having it on there but it is the only way to get rid of the error.  That service errors out every time a 'User' logs in but if it is an 'Admin' then you never see the error.  I even tried to grant basic users access to the entire folder where the Dell Support Assist app lives and still no luck.  I am just leaving it off and run it as Admin when it is needed.  Hope this helps.
