Extremely unstable software

It's been a couple of decades since I encountered software as unstable and unuseable as SupportAssist.

I'm not asking for help for myself...just telling you.  I'm happy to work with you to see if there is something about my environment that is creating the instability, but only to help you fix it.

I'm not going to detail the problem history, but will if a Dell tech who is admitting that you have a problem asks.

The primary manifestation of the problem is that the application gets hung up - and at various points.  It goes into a perpetual churn and never takes the next step.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and the only difference is that it gets hungup at a different point. 

I don't think I need the software.  I'm guessing that it just is a front end to existing MS routines.  But, many could benefit and those are exactly the people who, when they get hungup, wouldn't know how to let you know.  So, I'm helping them by doing this.

Hi newmarket2, Thanks for posting at DELL forum. I would like to know which SupportAssist build you are currently using and WINDOWS version. When exactly you faced hung up?
