I'm assuming you're running Windows on a laptop with an 11th or 12th gen Intel CPU? I'm having a similar issue with another application. For me it seems to only kick in when the window is resized or if I start in full screen mode.

Hopefully a more permanent fix is coming, but as a workaround I had to roll back my Intel video driver and that helped:

• Download the 30.0.101.1994 version of the driver from here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/732078/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html
• Install the driver
• Go to device manager
• Right click on the Intel Iris Xe Graphics adapter
• Click Properties
• Click Driver
• Click Update Driver
• Click Browse my computer for drivers
• Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
• Select the 30.0.101.1994 version of the driver
• Click Next
• Click Close
