Yes, mine isn't working either. Everyday I get a notification to update my drivers, software, etc. but every time I open SupportAssist, it just hangs. I recently updated my software (also prompted by Windows).
@AXEL314 I uninstalled SupportAssist and reinstalled it from the same download site, but it will not launch. Nothing happens after clicking on SupportAssist from the desktop or programs list.
YES All I get after launching Dell Support is 'NOT RESPONDING' Greyed out & sending to Microsoft. For 6 days now. It was OK before the latest MS update KB4284835
Running an Inspiron 13 7359 on Windows 10. Had to uninstall SA and now will not reinstall - same error as others re the installation file having 'no internet connection'- which of course is not the case.
Same problem. Keep getting messages from Dell to run Support Assist on my new XPS 13. When I do, it crashes every time (Not Responding). Tried running it from Dell on-line support and it fails again during tests saying "a problem was detected, try again."
Support Assist keeps freezing up, but a solution worked for me that hopefully will continue to work. Using Windows 10 Pro. Went into programs and removed, but that alone did not do it since when trying to download an installer it kept crashing and not installing. So went a bit further into Windows/temp and removed the support assist folder located there. Was able to reinstall the newer file and it's now working great. So it seems that a complete removal is necessary in order to get the new one working.
I have a Inspiron 5675 gaming desktop and Support Assist crashes every time I open it and just says not responding. I get a pcdlauncher.exe system error.

I have the same problem. I just purchased this Inspiron desktop and although it tells me to run SupportAssist for updates, it will not load :(

Mine immediately goes into "not responding" and sits there until I force close it.

@Pinkal K Did this. It doesn't work, because SupportAssist won't launch.

Has anyone had a reply from Dell ?
Is Dell listening ?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now and it still doesn't work.
I just get a message that "Support Assist has stopped responding" and that a report will be sent to Microsoft.
I have 4 Dell computers and the problem is on all of them.
Dell - please fix this soon!
