SARemediation backup folder

Above is a snapshot of a folder from my precision purchased at the end of last year. Most of the files are from before I received the laptop.  Please also note file dates at the bottom of the list are 2010 but there is also files from 2002.  Can these files be removed?  I am also a bit curious to why there a files from 2002 on a windows 10 laptop.
