Support Assist not working on Inspiron 7380 Windows 10
SupportAssist is trying to automatically scan the system but it is not responsive after that.If I close it it is getting closed. But it is not doing anything useful.

Suchibrata,
Reboot the computer and then disable any antivirus program. Once you have done this launch the support assist app and run the system scan.

Hi,
I have same roblem for a while.
Before, SupportAssist was running even under Norton Antivirus.
Bu now it can not start. I tried reinstall program and finally your suggestion.
Still does not work.

I have the same issue with Inspiron 13 7000 Black. When I open SupportAssist, it just says "UPDATING SUPPORTASSIST. A NEW VERSION OF SUPPORT ASSIST IS AVAILABLE AND WILL BE INSTALLED IN YOUR PC. DEPENDING ON THE SPEED OF YOUR PC, THIS UPDATE CAN TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES."
My laptop is connected to the internet when I'm working and it is usually open for 6 to 8 hours. But the update never happens. And every time I open Supportassist, it keeps saying the same as above.
