SupportAssist 3.4.0 Will Not Uninstall, Run or Upgrade
Following several unsuccessful attempts to upgrade SA from 3.4.0 to SA 3.4.1 on my T5810:
I attempted to uninstall SA completely and start over. However, SA would not uninstall from Control Panel, or from from the Start menu. It goes through the uninstall sequence, but it is still there, listed in Control Panel--> Programs and Features.
SA is still there. It will not uninstall, run or upgrade, so it is now totally useless.
Any ideas how to fix this?

My SupportAssist 3.4.1 goes in to
Loading PC optizmation tools and just stays there, twinkling away.
Re-starting the machine is no help.
And no help messages or anything else obviously wrong.

Get the installer directly from dell and run as administrator.

Tried your suggestion (thanks, BTW), but got the same old message
I think that my old installation is not completely removed and I cannot remove some of the files, even manually, since they are locked somehow.
