Follow-up told me to install/reinstall
1) Install Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin : http://del.ly/6601JuHsD 2) Uninstall SupportAssist3) Reinstall SupportAssist http://del.ly/6602JuHsE Upon doing that I got the update page and was allowed to update.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

After replying to the DM, the response was"There seems to be some conflict. We suggest you to install both the drivers manually..."I am not concerned with the updates but SupportAssist working on my system.
