SupportAssist freezes laptop every boot up.
I have the Dell Inspiron 17 1700 7737 Laptop and have tried many times over the last few years to use SupportAssist BUT every time I install it my system just "freezes" directly after Windows sign in.
The only way to restart is a power off reboot.
The only way to stop it happening is to uninstall / disable the app.
Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks in advance.

@EdwardJohnAllen
I had a similar issue a while back. And it was caused by the Dell Data Vault services. I got rid of the problem by setting the services to Manual =

@EdwardJohnAllen sure.
To open services do as described here: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-start-and-stop-services-windows-10?amp
Then scroll down to you find the data vault services and double click the service and select "Manual" in the "start type" drop down menu. Click apply and then manually stop the service. Do this for all the vault services.
