Same thing here. Exact same laptop and same BIOS. Not sure why Dell Update is trying to push it.

OH, I see, the guy that replies to my post gets help, but me, the guy to did the post doesn't get the help... THANKS DELL.

Now I know why out of 3 laptop and 3 desktops, only 1 of each was a dell. Do you have problems with disabled veteran's or something?

Exact same situation here. I actually have the referenced 3630 tower, but oddly Support Assist wants to install it in my G3 3779 laptop.
