Total cache slots in use (SRDF/A)

When using Performance Manager, there is a statistic at the RA group level called "total cache slots in use".  This statistic is recorded by RA group, but I've noticed on my interval files that all of the groups are reporting the same value at all times.  What is the true total cache slots in use by SRDF/A?  Is it just the number from one group, or is it the sum of all, even though they are all reporting the same value?

As a side thought, what I'm trying to do is prove that I have a bandwidth issue between my R1 Symmetrix and the R2 site.  I am being told that it could be a cache issue, but I do not believe it is.  I want to show that cache utilization during a certain event was low compared to the total cache available in the array.

To best approach I feel is to contact your service manager which should engage a local performance specialist.. There are tools and other methods employed to gather deep statistics (from the storage), as well as answer other questions you may have against the stats you already collected. Also may be able to make further recommendations. Perhaps someone else can answer the questions you posted in this thread.

I just looked at one of my BTPs for a Symm with multiple SRDF/A groups and they are all the same value as well

I think that metric is something else, not what you think it is

A better one looks like RDF-System, numof r1 cache slots in use
