OMSA on Windows omarolemap

In linux distributions of OMSA you have to use the following file to set permissions for users: omarolemap.  In windows I do not see the ability to do this.

The reason I am looking for this is to create an OMSA user in windows, leave it without any perms, but allow it to be an admin from within OMSA and Open Manage control panel.

What functionality or options do I have to make something like this work?  There is no reason to leave our security wide open by requiring administrator access to Windows in order to get access to OMSA admin functions.

Another question I have is how to limit the interface on linux and windows that OMSA listens on.

Information:  Windows:  Version agnostic
Hardware: Hardware agnostic

Thanks

Hello

You should be able to achieve that with active directory. There is a section about active directory schemas in the OMSA installation guide for Windows.

Thanks for your reply... Unfortunately AD is not an option.  This is not the kind of prod environment that can use AD.  Is there a way to do it with individual servers?

I'm not aware of a way to do it without AD.
