iDRAC default user and password not working

Hi,

we have configured iDRAC (not using the dedicated iDRAC interface because we do not have the Enterprise License) and although I get the web login page the default user root and password calvin are not accepted "RAC0212: Login failed. Verify that user name and password is correct." although it was for sure not changed. I was reading that the mode has to be changed from dedicated to shared but i don't see such an option ...

Any ideas ?

Hello.

To use iDRAC default log in credentials, make sure that the iDRAC is reset to default. See link for more information:  <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
