idrac9 server instance were not powering up from GUI.

We have few idrac instances where we have executed SystemErase api to erase all disks using below redfish api.

redfish/v1/Dell/Managers/iDRAC.Embedded.1/DellLCService/Actions/DellLCService.SystemErase' --data '{"Component":["CryptographicErasePD"]}' --header 'Content-Type: application/json'

 

And then reboot the system with below redfish api

/redfish/v1/Systems/System.Embedded.1/Actions/ComputerSystem.Reset
Payload:= {'ResetType': 'On'}

 

After these steps the idrac instaces were not powering up from GUI.

We are not sure what caused the problem, need assistance on the same.

Is the system erase on drive completed? Is all server details are shown in iDRAC. Can you perform AC power cycle and check the behaviou?

1. Yes system erase drive job was completed and then after reboot we were able to see the server details and drives as well in GUI. But later at some point we observed, server was in off state, and then afterwards from GUI we were not able to switch ON.

2. Yes we have physically power ON the servers and now all the instances are upa nd running.

We are trying to find the RCA why this was the above behaviour where from GUI we were unable to power ON the system, and need assistance for the same(to find the RCA).
