4.3 update failed
When i clicked restart/install after the update completed nothing happened. I"ve since restarted and still on 4.2.2. Every time i check for system update it tells me i have the most current update. Is there any way to force this update again?

You DID get updated.. BUT that was not v 4.3 .
FYI ,IT was a minor firmware .. that will prepare your device for 4.3
Post the firmware details here.

Yeah, I already had the first 6MB update. This was the 165MB 4.3 update. It downloaded and asked to reboot, then didn't.

How patient do we need to be? If I have some idea how long I need to wait before 4.3 will be widely available for the Venue 8, I'll stop checking for it for a while. Obviously, some people have received it by now, but not many I'm trying to determine if 4.3 is going to fix several of the glitches in 4.2.2, because if not, I need to return the device soon, before my return period runs out.
