Calendar Storage (process.com.android.providers.com) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Streak displays "Force Close". Begins looping and will not close. Cannot move forward. Have tried resetting but it will not go back to factory defaults. Cannot get to any applications to download again.
No Events found!

I just did the 2.2 update and am now having the same issues - anyone know how to resolve

I had exactly the same trouble... I called AT&T and they walked me through a strange process.
1) Attempt to (read as "really fast thumbs") clear the data within the application manager for the calendar app
2) Remove battery and hold the power key down for 40 seconds.
3) Replace battery.
Other than my ability to quick stab the force close and work my way down to the Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Calendar Storage I don't think they helped me in any real way at all. Good luck!
