Dell Venue 11 Touchpad Clicking not responding

I apologize if someone has already posted about this. I've been unable to find someone with the same exact problem as me. I have the travel keyboard for the Dell Venue 11 Pro (with battery) and earlier this week the touch pad became faulty out of nowhere. The mouse barely responded and it takes multiple clicks just to allow the cursor to actually select something. I updated the drivers and it fixed the mouse problem but I'm still having issues with getting it to click.
