Dell Venue 8 keeps dying after boot up

Purchased this Dell Venue 8 form Best buy on 6-17-15. Been working great up until about a week ago.  Something happened, not sure.  Every time I try to boot it up it goes through the entire boot up cycle then plays a little chime right as the home screen is about to come on and dies.  Does this every time, not sure what next step should be.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to us!

You can try the steps mentioned below.

·        Press and hold the Volume Down + Power button for 5 seconds. Release the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume Down button for another 3 seconds. This will load FastBoot mode.

·        Use the Volume Down to select the third option and press Power button to boot into RECOVERY mode.

·        In RECOVERY mode, press the Power button + Volume Up to display RECOVERY mode menu.

·        In recovery mode use Volume Down to select the wipe data/factory reset option and press Power button.

·        Confirm wipe of all data. Use the volume down to select Yes -- delete all user data and use the power button to begin the reset.

·        After Reset has been completed use Volume button to select reboot system now option and press Power button to reboot system.

NOTE: This will erase all personal data and downloaded applications on the tablet and this action is non reversible

Hope this helps.
Thanks
Robin
