How to access internet without a PC suite from Dell Streak ?

I'm assuming that you're in India and that you're using a Streak 5" with  Froyo 2.2.

Once you've activated GPRS, you may need to call your service provider and they will help you with the settings.  Either they will send the settings to you in the form of a message or talk you through the settings.  Typically, you need to set the apn no, etc.  Once you've done this, you will need to restart the phone and your internet connection should be working.  You will know that you're connected to the internet when you get a E symbol with 2 arrows on the top right side of your phone.

If you need to connect your laptop to the internet via your phone, you can use your phone as a wi-fi tether.  You can find the settings in Menu-Settings-Wireless Networks-Tethering & portable hotspot.  Once you enable your phone as a wi-fi hotspot, you can ask your laptop to locate new wireless networks and it will locate your phone.  You can then connect to the net via the phone.

However, it's my experience that unless you're on 3G, your connection may be very slow.  I would recommend that you wait till 3G is available with your service provider to use this feature.
