Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application software?
The Dell Rugged Control software has been updated, and the earlier version is not available. If you wish to utilize that feature, you might try a third party app.

I'm aleady familiar with that knowledge base article. I don't see what uninstallimg and reinstalling the program will do as it seems very clear the flashlight feature is not part of the version 2.0 software. Are there plans to bring it into the new version of the rugged control center? Otherwise it is just a useless device on the computer, and that is not a good thing.

Here's a driver I found for the Liteon camera, so if your 7202 has that camera, it may work for you.

So are you talking about the Flashlight function or the Camera Flash function?
