Trouble with DiskAid

so, i have DiskAid version 5.45 because the new version don't work.

do not mention iTunes, or i will immediately delete your comment.

i used to have DiskAid 5.45, and everything worked, then i guess something updated, and it didn't work, now

whenever i try to use it, it come up with this message:

"Error registering for callbacks from device. Please restart both your device and your computer to fix this problem."

so i do just that, nothing happens.

however, my ipod touch 4th generation sometimes appears in my computer.

i have no idea why.

i can still get pictures off my ipod.

how do i fix this problem.

again, if you mention iTunes, i will delete the comment.

i hate iTunes. it does not work.

or, what is a better program to use?
