Venue 8 Pro 3845 starts, but does not boot ANYTHING, goes to BIOS

Hello,

I have a Venue 8 Pro 3845 that, after not being used for a couple of weeks no longer boots.

It starts, although it takes up to 20 seconds before anything happens, and what usually happens is that the dell logo flashes for a second then the device switches to the BIOS, to a screen with the following text:

ROM Image update denied

EFI_NOT_FOUND! ROM Image is not loaded

It does this no matter what I do, I tried booting the recovery media I had created, right boot order, secure boot on and off, etc. I tried bootable USB Sticks from various recovery softwares, specifically for UEFI booting.

Still, it always shows the same behavior.

I am starting to suspect this is a hardware issue, but of course not sure.

Unfortunately my warranty ran supposedly out end of October, even though I bought the device new off of Amazon directly in March.

Does anyone have any ides?
