Venue 8 Pro BIOS Passwords
I haven't been able to update my BIOS for months because it keeps asking for an admin password and I never set one. I called Dell and they were no help since my tablet is out of warranty. I've tried a password generator I found online but none of the passwords worked.
Does anyone know how to reset/remove the admin password? Or how to bypass the password to update the BIOS?
Thanks in advance

Mine came back from Dell repair with a "new" motherboard that had a PW set, I'd taken it off before I sent it in.
Been trying to get through to Dell support, got cut off after an hour twice, and when I get an answer will post it.

I figured all of that. But somehow Dell added the password. Maybe they gave me a refurb board they didn't reset? My crystal ball sees hours on hold...

Contact Dell Tech Support with proof of ownership.
Dell will help with resetting the password. If under warranty, no fee. If out of warranty, then there will be a fee.
