Venue 8 Tablet

I received the Venue 8 tablet as a gift a month 1/2 ago.  The first few weeks it worked great and I was totally in love with it.  Then one day as I hit the power button, the dell symbol came on as usual but then nothing loaded.  The blank screen came on and then nothing.  Eventually the battery wears out and the tablet goes off.  I have researched now for over a week on trying to find the appropriate support phone number to call with no success.  I have emailed twice with no response.  I have no idea what to do now...any suggestions?
