Why no 8-inch Windows Tablet?

Question

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro running Windows 10.  Works great, but slow for my usage.  I think I appreciate it's limitations. Keep my running tabs and apps to a minimum.  It would be better if it had 4gb memory vice the 2gb now.  A little longer battery would be good.  Not sure if good faster processors exist for this size. Nevertheless, I would love to have a better 'upgraded' Win 10 8-inch tablet.  Why did Dell dump the idea of producing and marketing these.  A 10-inch or above seems like you are already moving to the laptop category.  I have that already. Is Dell ever going to produce a small form factor device again?
