EMC Unity REST API docs
Hello All,
We have a EMC UnityVSA 4.3.1 installed and I am able to access the docs via https:// /apidocs/index.html.
However, I am unable view few types eg. diskGroup.
I get an error:
'The requested URL /apidocs/classes/diskGroup.html was not found on this server.'
Has anyone seen such error?
After browsing through the forum, I did see the 4.2.0 (Dell EMC Unity 4.2.0 REST API new changes) and 4.3.0 (Unity REST API changes in 4.3.0) release changes. However, I am looking for a complete set of documentation like the one available here (probably the first doc!) - https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-52469
Can someone point me to the documentation section where I can download the EMC Unity REST API docs as per different versions?

Hi,
could be a bug on the 4.3.1 VSA - on a 4.4 physical Unity I can view the diskGruop.html just fine
may I ask what you planning to use the REST API for ?
are you a customer or partner or 3rd party software developer ?
Currently an updated offline reference guide hasnt been published - I have ask for that for the next version 4.4
Also the UnityVSA 4.4 should be available soon

Just FYI - apart from diskGroup, I also couldn't find raidGroup in v4.3.1.
I am part of a 3rd party software development team. We would like to enhance our product by adding support for monitoring capacity and performance metrics of EMC Unity storage system.
For the purpose of this, we would like to support EMC Unity v4.3 and above, as used by our customers.
Is it possible to upload offline version of EMC Unity REST API for v4.3?

sorry - the last one created as zip file for offline use was the one on support.emc.com that you found

Hi,
I have an explanation now - the diskGroup and raidGroup properties are only applicable on a phsyical Unity system so they arent included in the API reference on a virtual Unity (VSA)

1. Configuring a new mgmt IP
2. Creating a new Pool for block for provisioning to vsphere
3. Creating LUNs on the pool
