Unity VSA / Monitor FS space

Hi

there is a threshold for the global Pool but not for each FS, we just have a icon saying "The file system is at 75% capacity or more. Allocate more storage space to the file system."

Is it possible to modify this threshold and receive alerts by email ?

Or it's through an external tool like log insight?

thanks

this is a 'hole'. As the predecessor ( VNX), had a built in capability to do exactly what you suggested.

The only workaround I have seen is to use the cli tool to gather a list of fs which are in breach of quota and then email/alert data owners.

thnks for your answer !

we had VNX before and yes there was this really basic function ... for a file server, very strange this is not included by design

about cli you have an example ? By quota you mean users quota  ?

thanks

The next major OE release - currently in beta - will add the functionality to configure three levels of alerts for fs full threshold notification per file system.
