System Bay 1: I2C error on VMAX20K

Hi, will Enginuity upgrade be hindered by an I2C error?

Hi,

Better to resolve the I2C error first and then proceed with the upgrade.
Sometimes the fault may be with SPS or the LCC or the PowerSupply  (01B3 error).

Paul

Thank you Paul. What if I do not see any SPS or LCC related failures from the Environmental Health Check ?

Anyways, I will try referring to the related KB articles or engage PSE for assistance prior to the upgrade schedule.

Do we have any SR opened for this I2C error?

Door LED I2C issue, then it's not a problem.
You can proceed with the upgrade.

Sometimes there will be an issue with the power component and the 01B3 error will log.

Yes. SR was opened. Lab checked that the door led error was not related to any SPS or LCC issues. Was informed that the code upgrade activity will not be hindered by the issue we're facing now.

Issue was that the USBs of the door LEDs connected to the engine 4 of the system was wrongly installed from factory it seems. Had to swap the cables between dir 7 and dir 8 to isolate the issue. Had to call PSE lab to issue inlines to reset the door LED controllers and it was resolved.
