Hi all

i need to add IP address to the RE ports which are currently showing as offline,

just wondering if this is still binfile change or can i do it by Cli?

i have found the following commands and in the cli guide.

symconfigure set port DirectorNum:PortNum[FlagName = enable | disable]

[, ...] ]

gige primary_ip_address = IPAddress primary_netmask =

IPAddress,default_gateway = IPAddress,

isns_ip_address = IPAddress primary_ipv6_address =

IPAddress,primary_ipv6_prefix=<0-128>,

[fa_loop_id = Integer] [hostname = HostName];

Restriction

This command cannot be used to set port characteristics for iSCSI physical front end

ports and iSCSI target virtual ports. Use the modify iscsi_target on page 271 command.
