What does a VMAX device configuration of "PE" mean?
I ran across this and it has stumped everyone I've asked.

I believe that it is a Protocol Endpoint, Used with VMware virtual volumes (vvol) Protocol Endpoints: Thin device similar to a Gatekeeper Contain no capacity VMAX supports one PE/ESXi Host Support multiple protocols (FC initially) Managed by Storage Admins
