this what i found
VMAX 10K - 2 spares are required for every 100 drives with a minimum of 4 spares.
• VMAX 20K, 40K - 2 spares are required for every 100 drives with a minimum of 8 spares.
• SSD (Flash) Drives - 1 spare is required for every 32 EFD drives on any VMAX model.
