Performance metrics for VAAI XCOPY in VMAX

How do I measure the array performance for VAAI XCOPY activities?  The documents I've seen so far seem to be relative to the ESX host, and experiential in nature.   I've seen the restrictions, but if we're clear for XCOPY, then what metrics to I view from the array perspective?
