CIFS Share -- no. of files limit in a directory
Hi,
We are unable to upload files more than 65,534 in a folder (CIFS share).
is there any limit? if yes, may I know where I can find the limits.
The CIFS Share is from VNX-5600 (unified).

actually 64k is the max number of directories per directory (hard limit)
max number of files is much larger - 500k+
@sandeep - did you mix up files and directories ?

yes, max number of subfolders in a directory.
I mixed it up .... that PDF helped with all the info.
