Does EMC VNXe 3100 supports SCSI-3 & Persistent Reservation?

Does VNXe 3100 supports SCSI-3 PR required for Windows 2008 R2 Server Failover clustering?

If it's supported, how am I supposed to enable the feature?

Via ssh/script, since web GUI Unisphere has no such features.

We have  VNXe 3100 with two SP's Active/Active, iSCSI & MPIOing is working fine, and we got stuck while validating microsoft 2008R2 cluster requirements.

Recently we've managed to succesfully upgrade to the latest available patch level/sw version: 2.2.0.17384 , and still Cluster Validation report throws following:

Validate SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation

  • Validate that storage supports the SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation commands.

  • Validating Cluster Disk 0 for Persistent Reservation support

  • Registering PR key for cluster disk 0 from node hv01.xxx.local

  • Failed to Register PR key for cluster disk 0 from node hv01.xxx.local status 121

  • Cluster Disk 0 does not support Persistent Reservations. Some storage devices require specific firmware versions or settings to function properly with failover clusters. Please contact your storage administrator or storage vendor to check the configuration of the storage to allow it to function properly with failover clusters.

Thanks,

Amadeo

FYI - This issue has been resolved, VNXe supports SCSI-3 ... the problem was at the network layer with Broadcom NICs.
