MirrorView Limits

Im trying to find a document that discusses the limitations of Mirrorview.

Example:

1) Max LUNs that can be used in MirrorView

2) Max number of simultaneous replication streams between 2 VNX arrays.

3) Max Terrabytes that is allowed to be replicated

I remember seeing a document for older generations of clariions that discussed this but I cant find anything at present.

Is it possible that EMC has overcome these limits and now allows Mirrorview to be ran without limits?

Thanks,

Mike

All,

A EMC rep sent me the name of the document but I dont know where they got it from.  The name is:

docu38056_Mirrorview-Asynchronous-for-VNX-OE-for-Block-Release-Notes-05.31.000.5.709.pdf

I copied this text from that document:

VNX5100 VNX5300

VNX5500

VNX5700

VNX7500
Maximum number of mirrors 128 256 256 256 256
Maximum number of consistency groups 64 64 64 64 64
Maximum number of members per consistency group 32 32 32 64 64

Thanks,

Mike

There still are limits the depend on the VNX model and VNX OE version

The correct MirrorView release notes – available from support.emc.com – should tell

Note that the limits can be different for MV/S than MV/A
