One share for CIFS/NFS
Hi,
I would like to create a shared folder which has CIFS & NFS activated, maybe I am on the wrong track, but I can't see how to make this work?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Vipin,
sorry that doesn't help, the same server doesn't solve my problem, would need one share for it... Anyone having an idea instead of setting up a VM to do this? Kind of weird to setup a VM for that on a "Unified" storage...
Thanks

Hi comdivisionys,
As per my understanding, we can have shared folder servers that supports both NFS and CIFS (when creating one, it must be either NFS or CIFS). But one share can be of CIFS or NFS only. Kindly suggest if something is wrong in what i understood.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Unfortunately this feature is not yet supported on VNXe. We are hoping to have it in a future release.

There have been several releases since this post began, any update?
Is it possible on VNXe 2.4.xxx to have a singles shared folder with both CIFS and NFS client access?

Hey,
So far, VNXe supports following topological graph1, does not supports topological graph2. Hope this helps!
