Remove disk on vnx3100 with this label ?
Hello, does anyone know, is it safety to remove(change) disk in vnx3100 marked by this label ?

Hi Andry,
The warning is a precaution measure to inform users, that it contain System Luns.
But they are in RAID config, Hence Yes they can be removed. but only one at a time.
Also you need to make sure once replace the User must wait for a complete rebuild before replacing any other drive.
Rebuild status can be monitor from Unisphere. and usally take around 8 to 10 hours for complete rebuild.
But make sure you are getting the supported Drives only...

Nope. Not at all. I believe it is a vault drive. Just contact the support. Why are you planning to remove them are they faulty ?

Yes the OE will not work & you will loose data. Better you should copy it to a hot-spare & take the disk, else you will only be left with recreating OE, which will take loads of time & may or may not be able to recreate. refer it's docs on

unfortunately I have not support on this device, It's to old, yes one of those disk's is faulted. So if I pull it out, vnx3100 broke ?
