Replication of VMware NFS Volumes with VNX/Celerra Replicator

Is there a solution brief/reference architecture/best practices on PowerLink that talks to replication of VMDK's, stored on Celerra/VNX/VNXe NFS volumes, via VNX Replicator?

I can't seem to find one.

Thanks,

eric

Hi

This is how the replication can be used for the VNX/Celerra/VNXe.

File (NFS and CIFS):

VNXe to VNX and VNX to VNXeà Replicator V2

VNXe to Celerra and Celerra to VNXe à Replicator V2

Celerra to VNX and VNX to Celerra à Replicator V2

Note: For all the File access protocols that is NFS and CIFS we can use Replicator V2 that is built in Celerra, VNX and VNXe

Block (iSCSI):

Celerra to VNX and VNX to Celerra à SAN Copy.

VNXe to VNX and VNX to VNXe à SAN Copy or Replication manager.

VNXe to Celerra and Celerra to VNXe à Replication Manager

I will attach all the documents for the same ASAP. I have to get the latest documents ASAP.

Thanks,

Rohan Raj.

Hi,

There is no specific document/reference/best practices in PowerLink on VMDK replication. The best practices for Celerra/VNX/VNXe replcation applies.

Thanks,

nlui
