Sancopy from sun 9990E to vnx 5700
Hi
We are planning to migrate 1 server from sun 9990E to VNX 5700 using sancopy. this is going to be a pull operation and the hosts will be shut down. The thing i need help is how should we know the size of the devices on the sun 9990E and the front port information of the sun array since we need to reg

I'm not familiar with the StorEdge 9990 (but it is a supported SAN Copy source for the VNX per the latest ESM); however, if you review the SAN Copy Release Notes on PowerLink, there are steps for both the StorEdge T3 and T3+. It goes into the necessary detail about how to obtain the information via SNMP using either snmpwalk (Windows Resource Kit) or snmpget (free popular UNIX utility).
See if this is also relevant for the StorEdge 9990.
