Symantec DLP security scan triggering NDMP full backup

Our Security team has a new utility “Symantec DLP scan"  version 14.5 which goes and scans the NAS file shares using a service account. It scans the files and updates the file access time which triggers a full backup when NDMP Netbackup runs. Is there a option to stop the update of Access time of files on a per share basis or for the box itself ? I'm not aware of any server_param setting on NAS to do this. I don’t think there is a setting in NDMP to ignore file access time. Any thoughts ?

are you really sure that DLP *only* changes the atime ?

I dont think an NDMP should backup if only atime changes

Did you set RETAIN_ATIME NDMP variable in Netbackup ?
