Error when discovering Fabric Manager (Cisco MDS)

I'm getting the following error when trying to discover my Cisco MDS from ViPR controller

I'm using the IP of the DCNM (6.2.3) and port 22 (the default)

Discovery:  Error - Failed to get version: Failed to connect to device nysv0075 : java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

Any thoughts ?

On the Cisco side you must discover each switch separately. We basically SSH to the switch and get the VSAN information etc....  If you putty to the switch and can login successfully those same credentials should work in ViPR.

Thanks it worked. Do I really need to add every switch or one switch per fabric ? If it only cares about VSANs and zoning, one switch per fabric should be enough ?

No, 2 switches is fine to simulate a real world environment and have redundancy.  I meant if you had 8 cisco switches you would have to discover them separately unless they were ISL'd together.
