How to enable Intel P8600 CPU VT-x on Latitude E5500 Laptop?
Hi,
I have Latitude E5500 with Intel P8600 CPU, when I check Intel Technical Lists that showed P8600 can support VT-x technology,

But I installed VMware Workstation 9.0.2 & wanted to turn on a virtual machine, It showed error messages like:

And I set to use VT-x

I had already startup Virtualization Technology in BIOS setting & I only installed Windows 7 64bit Ultimate edition in Latitude E5500 Laptop.

How can I enable this CPU VT-x to run virtual machine in Workstation 9.0.2?
Please help me to solve it.
Thanks~

Steps are given below-
Enable or Disable Hardware Virtualization on Dell systems.
Power on your system.
Press F2 when the Dell logo appears to enter BIOS setup.
Go to the Virtualization settings. The path can vary based on your system model:
Advanced > Virtualization
Or
Virtualization Support > Virtualization
Set Virtualization to Enabled.
Set Virtualization for Direct-IO (or VT-d) to Enabled.
Save and Exit.
The system reboots.
This may help you,
