VMW VIrtual Machine Vmware Tools to alert on Windows hosts only

Some of you may only care if your windows hosts does not the Vmware tools and want to disregard alarms for  all other vms with other OSes.  

To do so:

1. Navigate to Dashboards| Administration| Rules & Notifications| Rule Management

2. Select VMW Virtual Machine Vmware Tools rule
3. Copy 
4. Check disable old rule, Name the new rule appropriately then click okay

5. Select Rule Editor
   1. 
6. Select Rule Definition tab

7. Modify the default Rule scope of "VMWVirtualMachine" to "VMWVirtualMachine where (osDisplayName like '%Windows%')"
   Note:  It's best practice to validate the query prior to saving
