Common Language Runtime Debugging Services error message

When ever I try to open Dell Media Experience I get this error message:

DMX.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handeled.

Process id=0xe60 (3680), Thread id=0x14f0 (5360).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application.

I removed Dell Support because I heard it resolves the problem but it didn't. I scanned my computer with ad-aware se, Spybot search and destroy, SpySweeper and Norton Internet Security 2005 and I still get the error message.  How do I stop this?

PLEASE HELP!!  I have the same problem as described above "common language runtime debugging services -- app has generated an exception that couldn't be handled -- process id=**** thread id=*****.    The ***'s vary, depending on what application I'm trying to open.  I get this message while trying to open about half of my programs.

I tried following the steps in article 320112, but when I get to step 1 g  (to uninstall), I find that Net Framework is not yet installed ... ie., I don't have an option to uninstall it, only install.

Now what?  I am also new to computers and totally lost.  My printer won't even work.  Here's an example:

 Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=Oxefc (3836), Thread id=0x360 (864).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Click CANCEL to debug the application

I'd sure appreciate any help on this.
