Error Loading Windows

Question

At least I think....For some reason, when I log in under my user name and after my wallpaper appears, my icons and toolbar do not appear. I have to go to Task Manager and end process explorer.exe and then run explorer in order for it to work. Is there any way that I could have Windows load it without me having to end process and run it again? Thanks for any help.

Hi Which Os do you have? windows xp/win98? How long have you had this problem? which dell system do you have? Dim 8400 etc?

I have Windows XP...um....I've had this problem for about a month now....since after I installed my ethernet card and my cousin 'fixed it'...and I have a Dim 8200...^_^
