Because Microsoft's GDI detection utility is essentially useless, and a much better utility has been released called GDI Scan I have decided to createa a tutorial on how to use GDI Scan for the members of my site and thought that you all would benefit as well. I just recently posted a question about this under the SP2 forum and was advised that if I had SP2 then I need to nothing further. However when i ran the GDI Scan I have a number of vulnerable versions showing in the Scan Log. My brain is a bit tired and I will tackle this some more later.
